Washington - We Can't Trust Them !!!

Department of Defense Chief Chuck Hagel was on the television tonight admonishing the nation about jumping to conclusions on Sgt Berghdahl's release from Afghanistan.
" We don't know all the facts yet, and it's not fair to the family to pre-judge him, " he said. " we don't do this in America!"  He acted surprised at the negative press and outrage from the public over the Marine Sgt's history of what appears to be Berghdahl's desertion in the face of duty and testimony from every one of his fellow soldiers. As of this writing, none of his Marine Unit will vouch for him, all condemn him, one calls for a summary execution. His own partner says he should be in prison.
The Obama Five, top guy prisoners from Al Quaeda prisoners released in a trade have raised the roof in Congress, and talk nationally borders on calls for presidential impeachment.
The administration from stem to stern seems detached from reality, curiously out to lunch on public sentiment and unplugged into the wall of what's going on out in Main Street. Caught flat-footed by a landslide of negative blow-back from American voters.
New commentators once bowing and scraping before the throne now take shots at the administration and their daily faux pas and left wing democrats like Diane Feinstein is forced to feign some sort of outrage otherwise she looks a fool.
Susan Rice visits Sunday Talk shows with comic lines none of which can now be trusted to a point where Congressional politicians openly target her with advice, " stay off Sunday talk shows, Susan," on open air and think nothing of it. The administration remains silent.
Hagel, a former Army sergeant now commands the entire military complex of the United States, at times seems uneasy trying to corral the respect of three, four and sometimes five star commanders who ramrod the military leaders under him.
