DAY TWO, WE HAVE AMENDMENT ONE & CODE PINK

Thank God for our First Amendment, you remember that - freedom of speech. That which has been closed down on most American campuses. It is if you express ANY opinion slightly to the right of Marx, Lenin the political haze covering North Korea or Vlad's Desha.
     Anyway, A quarter million girls show up in force in DC to proclaim their " rights," scared to death that the new Imperator, President Trump will somehow take them away. Watching carefully all the TV coverage, I've spotted their signs proclaiming
charactures of Hitler, Stalin, Murderer, he hates women ( yeah, sure - notice his penchant for beautiful blondes??).
    One interview on CNN asked "Why are you here", attractive lady with her daughters in tow. She answered something to the affect, to make our future bright for our children. The rest of her answer was just as cloudy.
     The Seattle-type violence the night before was typical. I expected that. The new police tactics are not to push them too far, but effectively. As long as they do so, arrest the bad guys (200 & counting) so be it.
     You just knew the "demonstrations" were going to be a bad scene, and, it ain't  over yet. Laughably, all the fuss of President Trump is on his 2nd day in office. I'd be surprised if he's found his personal water closet and coffee pot, yet.  So much for the critics logic.
     The TV interviewers deftly handled the ladies swathed in pink without rousing a screaming match in anti-war, anti-Trump cacophony. Kudos.
     Ratings were out: Fox News again the winner in coverage,  I think CNN came in 2nd, no word on Meghan Kelly, last seen teetering on the edge of a tall building somewhere having turned down $100 million to stay put. 100 Million!! Think of it.
     Understand, I love women. I once met Gloria Steinham and chatted briefly with her here in Tucson. She personally called me a feminist, I was proud of that. I know she comes off as strident, but personally, I think she just needs to be loved a lot more. Then, she'll warm up. Love ya, Gloria.
     I hope the feminists do their thing, and keep in mind, we're all in the same boat, all of us. And as I told Gloria, the more we work together (men and women) the happier we all can be. We need to stop the yelling at each other, dear.

American Women - our National Treasures

In the quiet reflective moments of retirement, the clouds part on the questions of today, the war we seem to have between the sexes, (don't tell me we don't have one - we do), and I feel closer to the truth, as to why we fight between why we fight with women.
     And, we they resist men so much.
     I can only see and feel it in the quiet moments, without the distractions, yelling, name calling, the anger that we hear so much. As a descendant of two the women in American History who helped change the course of our Nation' history,nder - look her up in Google. When she died, there was a minor shift in the " space/time continuum" as the Star Trekees like to label. She ultimately contributed to an awareness to our nation's focusing on the dangers of booze. We're still fighting that one.
     Another ancestor of mine was a mistress of President of the United States Warren G Harding. Her full name had "Fulton" placed in the middle of her signature. It is pertinent to note here that history claims she blackmailed the President for some money, succeeded in getting a few dollars, the scandal forced Harding to leave the White House and never seek another elected office. (there were other women involved)
     Harding was quoted in the press as saying, " Boys, I'm glad I wasn't born a woman. I'd be pregnant ALL the time. I just can't say NO."  My ancestor passed away peacefully early in the 20th Century in upstate New York in a rest home.
     It is in this recent history, since women have entered their era of " equal rights" that they have experienced in what I term a Male Backlash.
    This is driven by a certain section of men who frankly, can't handle the independence of women who have chosen to go their own way in the world, inspite of what their male partners think, want, desire, or hope for in their intimate relationships.
    Fair? Of course not. But, you are asking for a seismic shift in what was a pattern of behavior most men were raised under, trained, and molded for by their parents, other men, and the traditions of countless culture norms. Now, "Mom" dons a uniform leaves the husband and kids and goes off to war??
    She EXPECTS hubby to house bound himself and shelve his career ( that maybe he loves, went to college for, and maybe was paying big bucks for?) And, what drives most men NUTZ, some guys do it.
    Recent FBI stats show an alarming trend of women arrests for drunk & disorderly, vehicle infractions, and various violent crimes. TV reality shows like COPS record arrests in police stations around America of increasing mothers drunk, violent and spending the night in the drunk tank.
    All of this is new, recent and trending downward since the era in which I was born during the World War II era. Television shows depict violent dramas almost always involving young women beaten, raped and murdered. It's always women. We are up to our hips in brutalizing women. It's infecting our culture and the way we think.

    Where is the respect for our women?  The gallantry borne from " Women and Children first!!" ?  Have we bred a new nation of callous cowards?  Our precious women are the bearers, the carriers of our future generations, and deserve our respect, admiration and protection now and in the future. Espectially from the cut-throat dogs in the Middle East who would gladly put them under the knife without a second's hesitation. We should be the first to defend them. Now and always. America, we are the cavalry.

ODE TO ADMIRAL YAMAMOTO

ষThe Japanese Admiral was amazed after the Pearl Harbor attack, when it was so successful, had he considered an invasion of our homeland. The Admiral had served as a liaison officer in Washington for the Japanese Government prior to the war, spending many a happy evening play cards with America military personnel and establish friendships around Washington. He knew the American mentality.
        When asked after the initial Pear attack if he would consider invading America he said, no, he would not. Some of his Samurai staff pressed him for a reason.
         He said, " Behind every door in America there is a gun. If we invade, when we knock on those doors, we will lose one soldier for every door we approach. We cannot sustain that kind of loss."
         To my mind, there are one or two other countries in the world that mandate required ownership of firearms - Switzerland being one. Mandatory military service for every one involves rifle training. After mustering out, they take the gun home, and keep it there.
         A recent movie release here entitled "Miss Sloane" is another attempt at brain washing those Americans ignorant of 1) reality, and 2) the Bill of Rights. Those of us who would try to talk us out of firearms use the argument: " Why do you need a ____?" 
        My answer is always the same - I don't have to explain it, it is MY RIGHT,
under our Constitution, same as free speech, same as not being arrested for stupid stuff, same as worshipping in the church of my choice. It is my choice, my right.
         And, I will NOT throw any of those rights away. And, no president, no supreme court is going to take any of those rights away. Why, you say?
         Admiral Yamamoto knows.

Hello Europe, if you are reading this, we're scared, too.

If you're someplace else other than America, and reading this, you're probably thinking, our country has lost their mind.
      You very close to being right. Since the election of Donald Trump, if you believe our press, you might assume Bernard - the - Butcher, pillager and rapist, gun happy madman has been swept into office,
      The startling truth is this: we as a country have been shifting further and further towards Socialism, the kind that has poisoned the economy of Venezuela and Greece. ]
The other candidate was hand picked to carry on that same tradition, and most of us knew it.
      The " evil " Donald Trump runs a real estate company building resorts, business office buildings around the world and negotiating business deals to expand various economies. That's it. That's all he does.
\     Taxes in our country are so high, the highest in the WORLD, he wanted to do something about it. He did, he ran for president, and got it. Now, he will change things to make our businesses more competitive with the world.
      The candidate who lost has lapsed into a state of hysteria, her supporters had no idea she would lose, and the outbursts of anger, surprise and violence are reminiscent of riots in third world countries, NOT AMERICA, as most of us have known it.
      A lot of us, born into tradition here are concerned, fearful, angry, AND ARMED.
It will be some time before we gain control of the society, the populace, and can feel safe again.
      I wanted those of you outside our country who read this to know the temperature of some of the American Citizens - the traditionalists, at this moment. Not everyone have lost their heads.

AMERICA, DEPLETED, - EXPLAINED

For the past 8 years the reign of a ghost Socialist president, the country has slowly twisted downward, away from it's 'free enterprise' roots of the past to the European, Middle Eastern socialist culture that has permeated the world.
       Our country went along with this split, kicking and screaming all the way. A vicious divide between conservative people, and ' progressives ' pulled the country, and ultimately the government apart - again. Working from within the fabric of our society, they infiltrated the minds and hearts of our folks - " the government can give you anything, just ask." ( People think here that our government is much like Denmark. If we need money, just ask the government, they've got it. )
       Its remarkable how quickly the average American was able to swallow a Socialist approach as long as they didn't use those words. American politics have become an art, if not a science on what and how you tell our people what's happening.
       How did this happen?
       Liberals - Progressives - began to water down our schools. They eliminated basic cornerstone courses we had all consumed. Now, most of the younger generation can't discuss our history, name five countries in Europe, or 6 states in our own nation. They draw total blanks.
       Citizens of the world know the ultimate outcome of a poorly educated country - we saw the results in Germany in 1939 in the Nazi films of Austria as Hitler swooped in to adoring crowds of swooning girls and women, eyes aglow with admiration. Most of them would later die in ovens.
       Chilling, some of our own " leaders " continually proselytize the nation and Congress for the removal of firearms from all of the citizenry. Europe knows to well of the outcome when that happens. Adolph Hitler, Benito Mousselines, Pol Pot, Joe Stalin, and the Prime Minister of Australia demanded weapons be turned in on pain of death or imprisonment. Most of us know the results. They weren't kidding.
       For decades, Americans have been howling for a change in Washington: bring in someone "NEW," not a politician. Someone with a different point of view. Now that we have one, a businessman named Donald Trump, everybody hates him because he has been very successful, and they want to elect the wife of a former president who has been so shady in the past she narrowly escaped an FBI investigation.
       After the election, it has been said the new president Hillary Clinton is expected to copy the actions above and attempt to remove American's rights to own guns.
       My concern is for the falling educational level of our citizens, their collective cognizance of their rights and their will to fight for it should that time come. And, I feel that time grows short after the impending election.

I NO LONGER TRUST OUR GOVERNMENT

I remember when Michelle Obama stunned everyone when she said "for the first time in her life, she was proud of her country," when Barry was nominated and elected.
     Well, for the first time in MY LIFE, all 76 years of it, I am ashamed to admit that I no longer trust ANYTHING my government says to me (us) in any manner, shape or form. TV news reports, presidential announcements, greasy proclimations from press conferences - hope! Not one word. I assume, their lips are moving, ergo, they are lying, or someone behind them told them to. I wait for the announcements a day or two later from someplace else declaring the opposite is true.
     I have yet to be disappointed.
          " All dictators,...all totalitarian regimes eventually come to an end. Sometimes it seems they go on forever, but, they do end, and we go on to better times."......Mathatma Ghandi, great soul of India.
     And so it will be, our political pendulum will again swing away from socialism (as the late comedian Williams once quipped "Communist Lite"), and come back to what we once were, freedom.
     Richard Nixon, one of former presidents was run out of office because the Democrats vilified him for lying. He lied to the American people and resigned for it.
     Currently, at this writing, the leading contender for the election, Mrs Clinton, iw leading  the poles. There is no doubt (70% agree in the national polls) that she is a liar on many different subjects both trivial and deeply troubling. Yet, the majority of Americans SEEM to overlook that and her husband, he of the stained dress, and are willing to put them back in the OVAL office.
     " She has this unbelievable ability to be a liar. She is soulless." ...a female member of the New York Womens' Leadership Forum.

OBAMA AND HIS LEGACY

If ever there was an example of the wide divide between a politicians promises and his actions, none such could be greater than Barack Hussein Obama, one of the slickest salesmen ever to occupy 1600 Pennsylvania Avenue.
      Essentially, he searched every zip code of America holding the poor, the downtrodden, the overlooked, and told them what they wanted to hear, " I'm gonna rescue you. The govmt's gonna give you free stuff."
      And they bought it. He injected race into every conceivable subject he possibly could. MSNBC, NBC, CBS, ABC, tedium ad naseum backed him up covering his stories when need be, and covering UP those that needed the shade.
      And, the "dis-enfranchised?  They bought it. And our heroic General Powell voted for him the first time. Then, after the disillusionment of the first four years, we discovered General Powell voted for him the second time. And, it got worse. Now, why would he do a thing like dat?
      Why did his Justice (?) department fail to indict ANYONE during Congressional hearings? Remember Lois Lerner? 5th Amendment? Remember the world class ARROGANCE of Koskinen head of the IRS.?
       Obama has a legacy alright. In my personal view - a bad one.
