I NO LONGER TRUST OUR GOVERNMENT

I remember when Michelle Obama stunned everyone when she said "for the first time in her life, she was proud of her country," when Barry was nominated and elected.
     Well, for the first time in MY LIFE, all 76 years of it, I am ashamed to admit that I no longer trust ANYTHING my government says to me (us) in any manner, shape or form. TV news reports, presidential announcements, greasy proclimations from press conferences - hope! Not one word. I assume, their lips are moving, ergo, they are lying, or someone behind them told them to. I wait for the announcements a day or two later from someplace else declaring the opposite is true.
     I have yet to be disappointed.
          " All dictators,...all totalitarian regimes eventually come to an end. Sometimes it seems they go on forever, but, they do end, and we go on to better times."......Mathatma Ghandi, great soul of India.
     And so it will be, our political pendulum will again swing away from socialism (as the late comedian Williams once quipped "Communist Lite"), and come back to what we once were, freedom.
     Richard Nixon, one of former presidents was run out of office because the Democrats vilified him for lying. He lied to the American people and resigned for it.
     Currently, at this writing, the leading contender for the election, Mrs Clinton, iw leading  the poles. There is no doubt (70% agree in the national polls) that she is a liar on many different subjects both trivial and deeply troubling. Yet, the majority of Americans SEEM to overlook that and her husband, he of the stained dress, and are willing to put them back in the OVAL office.

GUNS, INSANITY, POLITICIANS, VOTERS???

Why do they do it? The crazies are alive again, roaming the landscape, stirring up voters, they think. " We gotta get control of guns" they holler. Another town mayor tried to pass a law against pistols in his town and his own town council voted him down. Guess he's off his meds. 

     Things are so bad here in the USA, fringey, as my youngest daughter used to call it, that everyone is getting armed, and I imagine, stuffing them in their pockets. 
     I detect, as they used to say on Star Trek, a rip in the space time continuum. Communal stress if you will. Everybody is just a little up tight. The beginning of the funny season, a year and a half out, the politicos are out running around for president. Obamas staying out of traffic, which is hard for him to do, sucking up to every tv camera in Christendom. 
     At this writing, there are 27 Republicans running for the nomination. Our current president hiding under his desk in the White House as a Florida mailman just flew a helicopter right up to the Capitol Bldg, violating this country's strongest military air space without so much as a scratch. 
     National moods are below apathetic: nothing works, all the agencies seem dysfunction, most of us feel unprotected from the outside, at the mercy of an uncaring, predatory government on the inside. 
     Tax season just ended, the health care act has fostered nation wide stories of tax implications on Mom and Pops all over the country, late filings, lack of assistance from the agency, surly agency management personnel, indifferent government officials. Never have we felt so ignored and powerless than now. Without a voice.
     And this we must endure for another 15 months or more. 
     Or worse.

President Obama's New Rules

Let's review: the prez had his teeth handed to him last election in November. No need to review the results here, Except for his brother's hut in Africa, an occasional sled drivers in Alaska probably don't know that outcome, otherwise, we all got it.
     His reaction thus far has been, shall we say, snotty as some national media characterize it. " Two years more of doom and gloom."
     So, pen in hand, he writes ( or directs his minions to do so) the following: we can look forward to having the temperature and quantities of water in our showers monitored. Some sort of national crisis up there with ISIS no doubt looming.
     National mandate on voting coming our way-mandatory for all of us. If you're of voting age, you will be steered (I imagine all sorts of gruesome scenarios of herding us in trucks to the polls.) on election day. Can't wait to hear the justification around the Constitution on that one.

     Obama and Holder's plan on disarming the American people takes on weird outgrowths as we progress onward into his 7th year: dry up ammunition. His ban on importation of less expensive foreign cartridges is being held up in a court fight. (God bless Federal Court Justices beholden to no one). His administration's constant attack on the 2nd Amendment has been the most continued assault on the Bill of Rights for the entire 6 miserable years of his presidency. Lack of space here prevents me from listing all his progress BUT, his latest is an attack on the banking industry attempting to dry up banking services for gun stores, gun retailers, adult stores, and other outlets deemed contrary to his arbitrary choosing. Remember, no public input was involved in the establishment of this " so called public nuisance " list, only comprised inside the White House.
     Dozens of such shops have lost their businesses because of their inability to transact financial deals through local banks: credit cards, deposits.
     The point?  The Obama Administration can't close GITMO on the first day of his office, 6 years ago. It is STILL OPEN. Keep a list of the items the president has promised, then check off those that he has jumped the shark on - " If you like your doctor, you can KEEP YOUR DOCTOR." (I lost my doctor of 12 years only yesterday, a victim of ACA stress.)
     My wife's doctor said to us yesterday, that "if it wasn't for this building we are in that we have to pay off, I'd go be a waitress someplace else." She, a Harvard graduate.
     My question? Are we out of control?

GRUBER -DUMB AND DUMBER, 2..TO, TWO

This week's movie reviews just came out with the opening night's statistics for Friday and Saturday night's gate sales.
    Always interesting to the Hollywood producers, directors, stars, and the money men who back the weird stuff that hits the nations' screens. e m
    What with our own beloved Professor Gruber running around calling all of us Americans stupid I thought it would be instructive to review the gate on this weekend's take on " the movies." 

   Since the good professor Gruber sees us all as a low-fore headed crowd of dolts, we note that the lead movie in revenue is Dumb and dumber, to, that high brow, intellectual bucket of rivets from Jim Carrey. 
   Jeff Daniels trying to resuscitate his career from that nutty TV far-left wing "news cast" show grabs at this mis-cast brass ring hoping for another leg up. For me, I think his best work was the Michigan commercials and Gettysburg. Very endearing.
   For Carry, well, I don't know he may be beyond help after his political dust-up with the cast of Fox News The Five. upi
Gruber's contention is that the American people are STUPID. The receipts for this weekend recount an IQ equivalent to a guard house dog because that's all that's needed to enjoy such a stupid movie. 
   How else should one interpret this? 
   As for Professor Gruber, I thank God we have him. He will forever
ever serve as wonderful comedic material to shoot Obama & company in the rear end for their reinforcing the shibboleth that all politicians lie through their teeth. But then again, that's just how I see it, I could be wrong.

He did it --AGAIN!! " No More Boots On The Ground!! ( 24 hours later - Boots on the ground!!)

We're back in Iraq, Jack, Marines with boots - - - combat boots. Secretary of State, the long distance medal thrower of Viet Nam, John Kerry, looks deeply into the camera lens and drones on - " We will not put boots on the ground in Iraq!"
     And, in just a squeegee over a day - fifty....no, 75, I think they said, no, maybe I50, the transparent Obama administration dithers on the facts these days, such Marines are indeed on the ground back in Iraq protecting something around, in, near, Sinjar. DC hollers that the cops in the stix should be more CLEAR and CONCISE when reporting facts to the public. Hmm, something like Commissioner Mumbles of the IRS in front of Darrel Issa's committee on who stole the cookie jar, I suppose.
     Unlike the goings on in Rowdyville Missouri on the shooting just five days ago, tough to discern who hit John. Yes, our head Boy Scout chimed in again, throwing his 3 cents into the melee, offering his " advice to local cops to shape up and be TRANSPARENT to the local community. Transparent.....reminds me of the old Jewish joke about the guy who kills his parents and throws himself on the mercy of the court claiming he is an orphan. Called chutzpah.
    As we speak the bad guys murdered 80 men, women, children Iraqui Christians ( THAT I believe) the info, it came from them, not DC.
    The Catholics have the pictures on their web-sites. Not for the faint of heart. Lotsa blood.
Babies in Swadling clothes without heads. These beasts are crazy and we are going to have to kill them. Remember, There is a reason the 2nd Amendment is our original Homeland Security. I'm afraid we may need it........and soon if these animals get loose over here.

the Prez wants $ 3.7 BILLION for what?......I don't trust him.....

     Sorry...I just don't. Where in hell did he pull that number from? He gives one speech, one, ONE!! And he says, I want 
3.7 Billion for these (you fill in the catch phrase for these catch and release aliens of the day pouring over OUR borders from the south).
     You tell me: - Illegal aliens? Undocumented Democrats? Transient refugees? In loco parentis? MS 13? I don't know, the Obama administrations spin doctors are spinning so fast the language changes moment by moment, they can't get the talking points down to the border fast enough to the border guards so DC and AZ, Texas and CA are all singing off the same Hymnal at the same time.
     There's a guy working for Obama floating around I feel so sorry for - Jeh Johnson, one moment he's been in DC using one set of terms, next thing I saw, he was down here in Nogales, hustling his rear end off, using another set of adjectives and adverbs, sweating like a road runner. 
     He was really trying to get with the game, shipping people around as fast as he could. Last I caught him, the 
ah,....(latest leftward term was ' REFUGEES') were being unrefugeed, according to ole Jeh, and shipped back. 
     He says.
     The Border Patrol is still 15 miles in, whomever is down there is diapering the kids, news clamps down, local tv, radio blackouts are rife, it would make the Third Reich proud, we now don't know anything. Local outlets don't seem to complain much, just take it and grin. 
    " Investigative Reporting " a'la Watergate is a dead n' gone issue. Great movie, dead history. Third hand reports from the Mexican border just 60 miles away is the kids are coming inside the border with diseases none of us have seen in America in 40 years or more, and they will soon blend into our schools, hospitals, n such.  The question now remains - who else is sneaking through our southern border, among the top five countries is China. Who else?

OPEN BORDERS IN ARIZONA AND TEXAS!!! - THEY'RE HERE

For those of us who have worried for years over the fear of "open borders" what would happen, it's here. Whatever you hear on the national media, which I suppose is very little, whatever you see, and I suppose the Obama dominated television and print folks are low-keying it, it is here with a vengeance.
For those who have wondered how we handle it, it is now time for " ready-fire-aim," we apparently are now into it, fast and sloppy, they're here, and we'll now have to see what happens next.
     We are a country that has lost control of our borders. No what?
     The children are walking through open holes in the fences, climbing over them, and standing by the American roads waiting to be picked up by BP squads. They are of all ages, some with older children, some as young as ten, walking alone. 
     Instead of running as they usually do, they happily climb in for the ride to the BP station, ask for a phone to call their American parents in NYC, Chicago or wherever, and asked to be picked up.
    So far, Texas reports 100,000 kids and are busing over their overflow to Arizona. Nogales has several thousand, and Tucson is beginning to warehouse, so far, an undisclosed amount. The Border Patrol has been emasculated. It can't do it's mandated job of chasing drug smugglers who are coming in right behind the waterfall of kids, they say they are sure of it. Half the BP are babysitting, the other half out in the desert or dead tired.
    It is a mystery who is fanning the flames in Central America with the false claims that is propagating the rush northward of all these children. The illegals that cross over have told stories that America will welcome them but beyond that sources are vague.
   The Obama Administration appears to want to label the kids " refugees, " instead of illegal aliens. At this writing, decisions in Washington as to their ultimate fate, return to sender or hook them up with their parents, aka illegal aliens residing in the USA, is still up in the air.
   As of the last local Tucson newscast, it is reported the flow of illegals across the border is unabated. 1620 hours/18 June 2014.
